City Council Meeting 7pm

Santa Paws is coming to town! Grosse Pointe Farms pooches with a valid 2018 Dog Park Pass are welcome. The gazebo at the Dog Park will be turned into a holiday wonderland for photo opportunities with Santa. Don’t forget to bring your camera!  Preregistration is required online or in the Parks and Recreation office for this free event.
Dog owners must be responsible for their dogs at all times. Dogs without a valid Dog Park Pass will not be allowed into the Dog Park.

Winterfest at the Pier Park
  (January 12, 2019 @ 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Grosse Pointe Farms Pier Park will be the new site of our yearly Winterfest! Be sure to join us from 1:00pm-5:00pm for a petting farm, ice carving demonstrations, ice skating, food trucks, putt putt golf and more!  The Relics will also be performing in the heated Festival Tent This event is open to all Grosse Pointe Farms residents and their guests.

The Soup & Chili Challenge will be held in the Festival Tent, with the Public Vote beginning approximately 12:00 p.m.  Judging of all Soup entries will be done by a panel of 3 Judges and by the public until the first batch of soup or chili is gone.  Winner's will be announced in the Festival Tent and will recieve a gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice located in Grosse Pointe Farms.  Chefs are only eligible for 1 prize.  Please return the Entry Form to meickhorst@grossepointefarms.org, or drop it off at the Pier Park.  For questions, please call 343.2405.

Daddy Daughter Dance  (2019 TBD @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
Sponsored by Henry Ford Medical Center-Cottage & Pierson Clinic, it promises to be an evening they will long remember, as Grosse Pointe girls, age 12 and under, twist and twirl with their best beau - Daddy - at the All-Pointes Daddy-Daughter Dance.

Parks and Recreation staff from Grosse Pointe Farms, Woods, Shores, Farms, City and Park have collaborated once again to create what is hoped will be an annual event every local daughter will look forward to attending with her Dad.

It's a semi-formal affair, complete with a rose for each young lady at the end of the dance. Just like a grown-up party, there will be frilly decorations, and lots of yummy appetizers and snacks with the addition of everyone's favorite tunes, keeping the party moving on the dance floor. Most importantly, Dads are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the memories of this magical night.

Easter Egg Hunt (April 13, 2019 @ 10:00 a.m. sharp.  Please arrive around 9:45 a.m.)
Rain, Shine or Snow, bring your Easter basket or bag and hunt for candy filled eggs at the Pier Park!  Don't forget your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny!!

Annual All Pointes Cornhole Tournament (May 18, 2018 @ Noon)
Limited to six teams per city, you and a friend can join in the All Pointes Cornhole Tournament!  This year, he event will be held at Windmill Pointe Park in the Activities Building.
The fee is $25 per team.  Complete the registration form and turn it in with payment to the Grosse Pointe Farms Parks and Recreation Department. Subs and refreshments will be provided.
The top 3 teams will receive prizes! All participants must be 18 and older.

All Pointe's Family Outdoor Movie (June 20, 2018 @ Patterson Park)
This summer's Family Outdoor Movie will be held at Patterson Park in Grosse Pointe Park!  Family Outdoor Movie Night is open to residents of all five Grosse Pointes, with Patterson Park opening at 5:30 p.m. for non-residents.  Parks passes are required and will be checked at the entrance.  This year's movie is TBD.

Regatta / Fireworks (Regatta runs June 28 - June 30th/Fireworks display on June 29th @ dusk)
On Saturday, June 29th, the City will have a free concert from 7:00 - 9:45 p.m., featuring the "Soul Provider Band, LLC", and a fireworks show immediately following the concert.  The Fireworks and Concert is part of the Annual Regatta, hosted by the Grosse Pointe Farms Boat Club.

The 2019 Regatta will run all weekend with lots of fun activities for the whole family! 

Summer Concerts (June 29, 2019 @ 7:00 p.m.-Soul Provider Band, LLC)
                                      August 3, 2019 during the Ice Cream Social @ 1:30 p.m.-Band TBD)

Come and enjoy a warm summer evening on beautiful Lake St. Clair at Pier Park!  Bring a friend, a blanket a lounge chair and picnic.  These concerts are free.

Ice Cream Social (August 3, 2019 @ 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Save the date for this one!  Grosse Pointe Farms residents and their guests are invited to indulge in free ice cream and enjoy activities such as a Giant Slide, Train Rides, Face Painting and Live Entertainment.  This day is sponsored and hosted by the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation.  This is a day that all families must mark on their summer calendar as a "can't miss day".

Grosse Pointe Farms & City Annual Fishing Rodeo (August 10, 2019 @ 9:00 a.m. sharp)
This event is open to City of Grosse Pionte and Grosse Pointe Farms Families, ages 17 and under.  Fishing isn't required to participate!  Prizes will be given to ALL participants, including the adults!  Breakfast and lunch is provided.  Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., fishing begins at 9:00 a.m. with lunch, prizes and awards to follow until noon.  This program is organized by Dick Graves Concessions.

Farewell Bonfire (August 30, 2019 @ dusk-10:00 p.m.)
As a goodbye to summer, we will have the fire pit set up on the beach and music playing for all families to enjoy!  Bring your own s'mores, drinks, snacks, etc.

Autumn Harvest (October 5, 2019 @ 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
Come take in the beautiful fall landscape at the Pier Park and enjoy a hayride, bounce in the moonwalk, hunting for candy, roasting some marshmallows, decorating pumpkins, petting farm animals, watching some magic and enjoying fresh donuts and cider in the crisp fall air! There is fun to be had for the whole family! The Autumn Harvest is Saturday, October 6th from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00 per person, 2 & older. Registration is available online, or in the Parks and Recreation Office through October 5th.
