Autumn Harvest (October 7, 2017 @ 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
Whether you're riding the hayride, bouncing in the moonwalk, hunting for candy, roasting some marshmallows, decorating pumpkins, petting the animals, watching some magic, enjoying some fresh donuts and cider, or just taking in the beautiful Fall landscape at Pier Park, there is sure to be fun for the whole family at the Annual Autumn Harvest. The cost is $5 per person ages 2 and older.
Annual Winterfest on The Hill (February 3, 2018 @ 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
One of the highlights of winter in Grosse Pointe Farms is the Annual Winterfest on the Hill. Winterfest features a full assortment of family fun and activities, including the brand new Soup Challenge! Residents are invited to show off their special soup.
Judging of all Soup entries will be done by a 3 judge panel from 10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. and by the public until the first batch of soup is gone on the Lower Level of 131 Kercheval. Winner's will be announced at the Main Tent at 2:30 p.m. and will recieve a $200 gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice located on "The Hill". Chefs are only eligible for 1 prize. The Soup Challenge is limited to the first 12 entries, so turn in that Entry Form!
Outiside, on the streets of the Hill, there will be live ice carving demonstrations, free hot dogs and refreshments, cookie decorating for the kids, s'mores stations, a putt putt golf course, and children's skill games.
Daddy Daughter Dance (March 25, 2017 @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
Sponsored by Henry Ford Medical Center-Cottage & Pierson Clinic, it promises to be an evening they will long remember, as Grosse Pointe girls, age 12 and under, twist and twirl with their best beau - Daddy - at the All-Pointes Daddy-Daughter Dance.
Parks and Recreation staff from Grosse Pointe Farms, Woods, Shores, Farms, City and Park have collaborated once again to create what is hoped will be an annual event every local daughter will look forward to attending with her Dad.
It's a semi-formal affair, complete with a rose for each young lady at the end of the dance. Just like a grown-up party, there will be frilly decorations, and lots of yummy appetizers and snacks with the addition of everyone's favorite tunes, keeping the party moving on the dance floor. Most importantly, Dads are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the memories of this magical night.

Easter Egg Hunt (March 24, 2018 @ 10:00 a.m. sharp. Please arrive around 9:45 a.m.)
Rain, Shine or Snow, bring your Easter basket or bag and hunt for candy filled eggs at the Pier Park! Don't forget your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny!!
Regatta / Fireworks (Regatta runs June 29 - July 1, 2018/Fireworks display on June 30th @ dusk)
On Saturday, July 1st, the City will have a free concert from 7:00 - 9:45 p.m., featuring the "Soul Provider Band, LLC", and a fireworks show immediately following the concert. The Fireworks and Concert is part of the Annual Regatta, hosted by the Grosse Pointe Farms Boat Club.
The 2017 Regatta will run all weekend with lots of fun activities for the whole family!

Come and enjoy a warm summer evening on beautiful Lake St. Clair at Pier Park! Bring a friend, a blanket a lounge chair and picnic. These concerts are free.
Ice Cream Social (August 4, 2018 @ 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Save the date for this one! Grosse Pointe Farms residents and their guests are invited to indulge in free ice cream and enjoy activities such as a Giant Slide, Dunk Tank, Train Rides, Face Painting and Magic Shows. This day is sponsored and hosted by the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation. This is a day that all families must mark on their summer calendar as a "can't miss day".
All Pointe's Family Outdoor Movie (Date & Movie TBD)
This summer's Family Outdoor Movie, sponsored by St. John Providence, will be held at Grosse Pointe South's Football Field. Family Outdoor Movie Night is open to residents of all five Grosse Pointes. Parks passes are required and will be checked at the entrance on Fisher Rd. Rain date is August 14th. This year's movie is Finding Dory.
Grosse Pointe Farms & City Annual Fishing Rodeo (August 12, 2017 @ 9:00 a.m. sharp)
The Fishing Rodeo will again be held at Pier Park and is open to Farms and City residents ages 17 and under. This is a free program for all ages. There are prizes for all participants and door prizes for the adults, too. There will be refreshments for breakfast and lunch. All fisher persons should be ready to cast their lines by 8:30 a.m. with the actual starting time for fishing to start at 9:00 a.m. sharp. This program is open to all residents of Grosse Pointe Farms and Grosse Pointe City. Everyone should bring their own bait and fishing poles. This program is organized by Dick Graves Concessions.
Farewell Bonfire (September 1, 2017 @ dusk-10:00 p.m.)
As a goodbye to summer, we will have the fire pit set up on the beach and music playing for all families to enjoy! Bring your own s'mores, drinks, snacks, etc.
