Automatic Debit Payment Option
The City of Grosse Pointe Farms offers you the opportunity to pay your utility bill--free of charge--through our automatic debit payment service. This service allows you to have the Utility Billing Department deduct the balance of your bill directly from your specified bank account on the due date. Once it is established, you'll never pay a late fee or worry about your mailed check arriving at City Hall; and no more changing your mailing address when you're out of town, either!
The sign-up process is quick and simple. All you need to do is fill out the form below and return it, along with a voided check (to verify bank routing and account numbers), to us by email, U.S. mail, or deposit it in the white drop box behind City Hall at 90 Kerby Road.
Please note: Depending on the timing of your sign-up, it may take one billing cycle before your payments begin being deducted from your account. Please continue to pay your bill as you normally would until you receive a water bill with "AUTO-DRAFT - DO NOT PAY" printed on the bottom.
