Kerby Road Construction Near Completion

As you are  aware the Kerby road project is near completion.  This is the first project implemented under our new road millage that was approved by voters last November. The scope of this project was a much more extensive reconstruction than has been typical in previous years.  In years past, a typical road project would remove 2”-3” of asphalt and repair curbs as needed.  The Kerby road project entailed removing 7” of asphalt, replacing curbs for the entire length of the project and replaced driveway approaches and sidewalks as needed.  Please note the following updates:

Road construction

Construction is completed with the exception of a few minor items. Restoration will be completed as weather permits.

Leaf collection

Curbside leaf collection began Friday, November 19, 2021.

Sprinklers

Please mark your sprinkler heads that are near the curb and/or driveway areas to either expose or mark the heads and shut down the adjacent zones prior to the start of construction for the Contractor.

Rubbish and Yard Waste Collection

We request that each homeowner bring their trash, compost, and recycling to the edge of the sidewalk on their scheduled collection days.

If you have any special needs, questions, or concerns not already addressed by this flyer, please feel free to contact the HRC Field Observer or any of the personnel listed at the end of this letter.
