This year's collection will be held on September 27, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Windmill Pointe Park in Grosse Pointe Park. Most items can be dropped off, with the exception of smoke alarms, radioactive material, explosives, propane tanks, chemical labs materials, motor oil, batteries and latex paint.
The Kercheval Trolley runs from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent. The Trolley's route is from Moross to Wayburn. The entire loop takes 30 minutes. The trolley can be tracked by using www.gptrolley.com.
